RMP | ON THE ROAD SESSIONS
On the Road + Station Families
If you live "down the road a few hundred kms" we have the option to do things a little bit differently should you be up for it, WHICH IS AWESOME!
The general family session still applies, but in exchange for me being able to bring my caravan, two kids and husband along with me to stay overnight we also get a bit of extra time to truly document station life for you while I am there.
HOW DOES THAT WORK EXACTLY? Generally it means that we arrive mid arvo pending where we are coming from, our kids make friends with your kids immediately, and over the course of the afternoon, evening and the next morning before we head off again we get the chance to hang out and check out what life on the land is truly like for you guys -- and I am in my element casually capturing you and your family going about daily life! We still earmark prime-time for your official photo session of course (usually that is sunset on the night we arrive, but if you have young kiddos that are partial to an early bed-time then we can certainly work on sunrise/early morning instead), though I absolutely believe that there are some gems in the daily life photos too - especially as the years go by.
If this frightens the life out of you to have a couple extra people in your space that is fine too, we in this case would opt to park the caravan overnight at a free-camp near the highway and I would make my way out for the sunset session solo and return back to the highway once we are finished. No pressure either way here!
ARE THERE TRAVEL COSTS? For our On The Road sessions travel costs are capped at the detour from the highway. This fee is $100 per 100km travelled. So if you are 50kms from the highway (100km round trip to get to you and back), travel will be $100 on top of your photo session. This amount will be discussed with you and outlined in your quote prior to confirming your booking where applicable.

Custom engraved linen photo box to fit 5x7" prints and USB. Comes with a selection of fifty 5x7" lustre prints handpicked by Renni and includes an engraved USB.

One 12x18" (30x46cm) print, matted and framed
Your choice of image and frame colour
Finished framed size generally 44cm x 59cm pending frame and matt chosen. Additional framed gallery prints can be added to your order, please enquire for pricing on the additional pieces.
OPTION THREE
Five 11cm x 11cm prints, matted and framed.

WILL YOU PHOTOSHOP IMAGES TO HIDE ANY UNWANTED SPOTS, WRINKLES, ETC?
I colour adjust and do minor edits to all of your images. I keep things very true to life as I believe it's our imperfections that are what make us unique. Where possible and with your permission, I will edit out anything that is not usually there ie. grazes, pimples and/or sores etc, but things like your beautiful smile lines, birthmarks or grey hairs etc are far too precious and unique to erase. If there are specific edits you want, these will be charged according to the number and complexity of edits.
WHAT IF SOMEONE IS SICK OR THE WEATHER IS BAD?
We want everyone to be their happiest and healthiest. If someone falls sick your retainer fee is transferable to a later date (This excludes travel sessions outside of the Port Lincoln area, if unwell your booking is transferable to someone else).
A little rain or a cloudy day produces beautiful light and is not something to worry about, however if I consider the weather too difficult or dangerous to shoot in, we will postpone to another mutually agreed date.
WILL OUR PHOTOS BE POSTED ONLINE?
Your booking questionnaire has a little tick box that asks whether you are ok with social media posts. Your privacy is always respected and if you would prefer to keep all/some of your images private I will respect that. Communication is key!
DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED LOCATIONS TO USE?
I do! Weather conditions can significantly affect any outdoor location and I will always recommend going where it’s most protected from the elements. This means that we will often make the call on which location we will use the day before / morning of session.
